Ooh I almost forget, i have ordered three of these, i give the other 2 to may siblings and kept mine for my daily driver for now. The mids is where this earphone shines, the bass is there. The highs is bit sharp at times and it lacks energy, but not too often maybe it depends on the type of music ur listening. I can compare this on Sony XBA-1 and i have also xba-1..and its more detailed than klipsch s4, s4 sounds veil esp the mids, the bass is overpowering the mids, piston v2 has d same amount of bass that of klipsch s4 but the mids are there, its more clear..

The bass is prominent but not overpowering the mids and highs. Xiaomi Pistons v2 got a very positive reviews on head-fi.org, and some of these reviews came from audiophile (you know they are very hard to please). Xiaomi Pistons v2 is a very good alternative to stock earphones yet giving you a very good quality sound and for that price? Its fantastic..

You can have a pair of $20 pair of Skullcandy's with loud, trembling bass but yet with awful mids and highs, like how I would depict this pair of earphones would sound like. And how is this pair of earphones have the equivalence of a $50 pair of earphones? Please give a review that includes the other parts of the listening experience, not just about how good the bass is.
