Anonymous, 18 Mar 2015I consider this year's tech to be the following: Samsung latest AMOLED tech DDR4 RAM UFS ... moreWorse screen than m8 worse battery life than m8...what is all this your blabbering about.. On paper yeah s6 looks good but couple it with touchwiz and every components potentials becomes nothing.. See the s4 and s5..they had latest processors and ddr3 ram while the one m7 had ddr2 and all kind so these stuff.. But still it lagged a lot.. Yeah maybe they improved touchwiz and all.. But they can never come close to the speed and fluidity of sense even if they put in a 24 core processor.. So software is also important.. Don't go blindly on specs

cheesesteakwit, 18 Mar 2015Last years tech? Explain!!!I consider this year's tech to be the following:

    Samsung latest AMOLED tech
    DDR4 RAM
    UFS 2.0
    Exynos 7420 SoC
    Best camera with OIS

    HTC is using the following:

    Worse screen than the M8
    SD 810 - LOL
    Worse battery life than M8
Terrible camera that doesn't even match the competition
    No OIS

It seems the M9 is the same exact thing as the M8 with a couple of downgraded components. Considering to the bleeding-edge technology Samsung put inside the S6, the M9 should be MUCH cheaper the manufacture than the S6, yet it's priced more. Why is this?

The M9 is using components that OTHER smartphone vendors are using as well, so their combined manufacturing output should be close to or above Samsung's.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2015Why in the world is this phone more expensive than the S6 when the S6 is using the latest tech... moreBecause less M9's are going to be produced. When you produce more of a product, the cost of materials actually goes down, which allows you to lower profit margin thus lowering overall retail price.

Why in the world is this phone more expensive than the S6 when the S6 is using the latest tech available while the M9 is filled with mostly last year's tech with some downgraded components (Like the screen)>
