Received the update yesterday ! Battery life has improved ...phone seems more stable and I haven't experienced any memory leak yet ..the update has been great so far ..performance has been improved slightly !

Got android 5.1 today in jaipur.U should on airplane mode then try clearing the data of google framework services and then force stop it and restart ur nexus,this will probably force the 5.1 update
