So what was the difference again between the Z3 and this phone, except the "mighty Snapdragon 810 chipset" and the 0.3mm taller display?

As someone looking to upgrade this year, to be honest, Sammy has this year sewn up completely re: best flagship (S6 Edge) - I was waiting to see what Sony had up their sleeves, but to be honest, it's a bit too samey to what has gone before (same with M9) - because the specs game now is such a level playing field - people want originality and design... (and for me, a stonking camera)...
Nothing is coming close bar, I suspect, the Note 5...

With those typical design, I don't think it will work.And also problem with the 810 chip.Furthermore the phone is getting narrower and the big ugly front n bottom bezel.

I'm disappointed that they are jumping on the uhd 2k bandwagon. Totally NOT necessary. I really hope their best in class battery life 🔋 does not suffer because of it, but that seems like wishful thinking fo sho'!

Would be unfortunate if Sony axed the 1080p version. I'd much rather have 1080p and more gpu grunt and more battery life.
Sony can do a 2k if it really wants to, but most of us would prefer better gaming performance from 1080p and s810.
