I wonder if its possible or not but just think all those Android phone that are very old and are still stuck with jellybean can install windows os. It will give the device new life and they even be updated to next couple of years.

me, 19 Mar 2015I would like if they made it dual boot. Both Android and Windows 10Console OS is another option
Dual Boot is currently hated by both Google and Intel so it might NOT happen anytime soon unless the OEM is a small, unknown company.
Also, Dual OS will significantly reduce the partition of the internal MMC storage. Minimum requirement for Dual OS is 64GB which is quite expensive in the Smartphone Market

After using M8,S5,LG3, iPhone 5s ,Nokia Icon, and 1520 I can definitely see some pro and cons of each operating system. iOS is insanely boring and static whereas Android is most flexible but laggy (it does not matter the device) and power hungry. Windows is immensely fluid, gorgeous and great on battery performance, Apple are also great in terms of power management. Moreover, iOS and Android is great for app selection and app performance(feature). Win is not still there. But it has all great apps even it has some exclusive great apps. I think consumers should have more choice. Win is distant third, but if they can fight with android it would be the consumers who will be benefited. It would put more pressure to android to make the OS better. I think Microsoft didn't take mobile seriously and so they have to pay the cost. Now it is very late, but this market is very volatile, Nokia was no 1 in even 2005 but now people know the story. 10 year is big. Who knows win will not be a leader in decade.

Slowly people will realize how beautiful windows is then their lagdroids and market share increases then developers change their mind.

What's up with these recent Android devices turning Windows. HTC should really sue these companies for following their step. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, HTC is the only manufacturer who did this. Microsoft should just limit it to HTC, after all, it's HTC's strategy to begin with.

It would be awesome if (all or) most of Android phone's OEM make Windows(phone) OS available for their flagship Android phones. Like M9( cause M8 got both Android and WP version), HTC made Android and Windows 8.1(10) OS available in their website and let users download it and then install it on their phones. Instead of making 2 version of phones, they just need to make 2 OS available for the same phone.
