I think google must take care for updating handset which are still running on jelly bean. And google must force OEM to update them. Still hardware capable of running higher version of android. We are stuck with jelly bean.

Still I'm unable to update my micromax canvas A1. It's not showing anny update. I'm trying with Airtel Cellular network. Anyone can help me?

to all my beloved bro of HTC and Samsung aswell, dont desperate that ur set didnot get Lollipop update, because
HTC & Samsung use SENSE & Touchwiz UI, so they integrate n modify android version with it, which requires so much effort, its like developing new software for every different Flagship like, Htc One M7 has more than 12 13 different bases, so they have to workhard for every handset. thats why it takes time
And now come to the Micromax they do nothing just push original Lollipop without any modification. which doesnt have taste of Sense or Touchwiz UI. and so boring Original Android without Sense or Touchwiz UIs. (User Interface)

My nexus is still on 5.0.1 and what a 6k phone gets lollipop 5.1 before 26k...phone my cousin teases me google that's not fair

Those people who didn't get the update yet can get it though force ota process
First of all make sure you have the stock ROM and the stock Recovery and all Rom files are intact it is very important for getting the update, if not then flash the stock rom and recovery first.Make sure OEM is not unlocked
If everything is ok then start
1. Disconnect any net connection
2. Go to settings>App>All apps>Google Play Service app then clear its data
3. Do the same process with Google App and Google Service Framework app
4.Now force stop only the Google Service Framework app
5.Reboot your device
6.Connect to any net connection
7. Search for Update
If nothing happens first time do it for several times.
If you get the update you'll see you can't download the update via mobile network till 31st March, just change the system date to 1st April. Best Of Luck.

Multiuser function is not available in this version.

Micromax dont just stop by updating only android one device. what abt the other devices like a106, a108, the whole canvas series etc. people paid for ur devices & u just outdated them by nt updating os. Wtf?!!! micromax srsly have to think abt updating their devices. i mean whats the point of launching tons of devices in a year nd nt updating a single one!! otherwise just remove the option system update from all the devices. no use of it. huh

Shame on HTC!
They can't even provide update to their older flagship devices like One (M7) and OneMax.
Anyway, already jumped ship to Apple.
