It's a flagship device, you guys. It is supposed to come with that price range. Look at other flagship devices. A company just doesn't have to break even. S6 with 32 gigs is going to be very popular. The same cannot be said for it's edge counterpart though.

"mid range"? specs aren't everything. the iphone has "lower specs" than other smart phones on the market because they don't need it. They're as fast as the higher spec phones simlpy because the software is more efficient. So whats the point?

most people dont buy mobiles with the home button, exception for iphone its round for thumb which sits perfectly unlike the odd round rectangular home button which negates the beauty of the s6.

Pricing is definitely on higher side but hardware is fantastic and it deserves. Being note series user, I'll wait for note 5 EDGE.

People calling Samsung is not greedy. Look at the pricing options. If they are increasing the storage from 32 GB to 64Gb they are increasing price by INR 5000. You can get a 1 TB HDD at that price. Probably people who have black money or are damn rich can buy this in India

And your pathetic iPhone only has 1 GB of ddr3 ram while the S6 has 3 GB ddr4 ram. The S6 internal memory is UFS 2.0 meaning it's almost three times faster than what's in you pathetic iPhone. And lagging interface? What? Are you living in 2012? Compare to the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 interface would be lagging. What a joke!
And o yeah, the galaxy S6 has mobile VR powered by Oculus. You know what that is?? It's the future. You can only dream your iPhone has that kind of feature.

For people complaining about the price, these phones are not for you. Hi end means expensive, understand that. But these phones also have all the latest and greatest tech for a mobile available right now that made them ten times better than iphones, yet they're still cheaper then iphones. It means Samsung is not greedy like Apple.

If any one wants to spend that amount for Phone,then its wise to go for Apple,but i think that person may be already having Iphone with him,so they can buy it,regarding cost, its okay,buyers gonna buy it if they liked it.
Many Indian buyers can easily afford this like businessman,docs..India is a country of Richness too.

Vaibhav, 23 Mar 2015s6 will hit and s6 edge will flopI doubt it dude. S6 edge looks great than regular S6. For anyone who can buy S6, it does not matter to spend extra 9k for a better looking version. If i were to buy to one(in 2 or 3 months), i will gladly pick up green edge version

For what you pay for the iphone, you should go for Xiaomi or Huawei, iphone 6 is just a mid range phone anyway.
BTW, S6 is in totally different class than iphone. Period.
