great but its still max 6". Everyone likes bigger screens, so only way to do it is making screen scrollable. As things are now i can imagine only samsung to try that.
Im not really happy to use 3 different devices notb,tab,mob. it means 3x costs...

So no they do not cater to the fashion crowd (fashion phones have huge bezels, look at iphone and htcs), it's about having a large screen in a small device.
Did you know that you can fit a 5 inch screen in the same profile as the original iphone? Yeah that's right, a phoned size phone with a large display. It can be used one handed (software will reject accidental touches), and it will fit everywhere.
Now look at htc ' s monstrosities . 5 inch too, but almost as big as a phablet.

OEMs should focus on things that really matter, like battery life. Removing bezels and making razor-thin phones is just catering to the fashion crowd. Those are utterly useless "improvements", and a complete waste of effort and resources...

Honestly I have no fancy for a bezel-less screen nor do I see a point in QHD displays as far as the mobile phones go. This bezel-less screen looks very impractical to use.
