AnonD-246216, 24 Mar 2015*Cough* Samsung Wave S8500 *cough*very nice that actually looks more creative than rest of samsung that's out right now
If you find a mobile that weighs around 7 ounces "heavy", you might wanna start a weight training program.
I hope its 6inch screen. And doesnt have the screen over heating issue with g3 has. We dont need full.metal body either. Metal rim.would be enough to add some accent and jewelry like..im excited with this handset. Im Planning to get note 4. But well see..
YAY, 24 Mar 2015If it's plastic again, i'm not gonna buy it. It's gonna melt when the Snapdrag 810 heats up. Lol...u crack me up. My guess is u will be fine..the G3 looks well done with the brushed metal look. Moreover most of us put cases on our phones these days to protect them from any mishaps. I do...
Why does evry one says that s6 is metal..it has a metal ring but the phone is glass...want to see the drop test see how dum people will spend thier money on a device which is prone to shatter..LG will be the best with the new UX4.0...better and cheaper.
Design wise, this is a strong choice. If they're going to go forward with using the Snapdragon 810, using a metal body will only excaserbate the overheating issues it has. HTC found this out the hard way, and LG learned from HTC's mistake no doubt. Hopefully LG will find other solutions in addition to this to help reduce the heat this SoC outputs.
Metal body equals heavy and hot (see HTC One M9). Good choice by LG. Hope they and Sony will impress us, unlike Samsung and HTC.
Shen, 23 Mar 2015Yeah you're right. And it's rumored to use the same SoC HTC has which is the SD810 so if G4 tu... moreyou do know that whether the phone has a plastic or metal body, it doesn't matter? if the inside heats up, like the soc, it's going to heat up. you may not feel it as much on the outside because of less conduction, but it's still going to fry the innards of the phone.
If it's plastic again, i'm not gonna buy it. It's gonna melt when the Snapdrag 810 heats up.
AnonD-296725, 24 Mar 2015I guess that means removable battery. Why can't they make metal back with removable battery. I... moreNokia made that combo years ago releasing the E5 qwerty phone. I too do not understand why right now it's such an issue to make. Also I remember samsung wave 3 (I think) which had a nice sliding metal back with removable battery.
I guess that means removable battery. Why can't they make metal back with removable battery. I guess no one can't pull that off
i actually like the plastic option since every other manufacturer wants to follow Apple route with metal unibody and nix the battery and mSD options. if i want unibody there are HTC, Samsung, etc. just make it lag free with a bit better battery all else in G3 is good.
AnonD-145833, 23 Mar 2015Thank god. I don't want metal. But a camera shutter would have been nice. Taking photo's is... moreYeah you're right. And it's rumored to use the same SoC HTC has which is the SD810 so if G4 turns metal, then it's more likely prone to overheating. So, good move LG. Let's see what you got cookin' so, make haste and unleash the beast.
