Guys the update will role out in India next week or so. As generally Samsung first gives priority to those customers in Europe. The Russian rom works fine if you can't wait then manually flash it, my friend has done it and its running preety well.

First find out that nd then try to flash ur model to russian firmware. Or else wait for Indian lolipop version. If u hve waited for 9months. Then u can wait for few more.
