Not going through BS promo like "limited online flash sales" would help a lot.
They did it with the redmi 1s and now they put it up on open sale when it is no longer in demand. Time to clear their warehouse stocks.

Sell one phone to each family in China = goal accomplished. Probably not as hard as we imagine it.

you can forget about their TV.
The screen quality is super low-end, everyone on the screen gets pale face and skin, might be great for playing games, but definitely not a regular TV

Best PR for Xiaomi is to partner with Google for next Nexus phone. Xiaomi is Google influenced anyway with Hugo Barra on board.
