Samsung is denying about 5.1 Lollipop update. So consider this news just a rumor.

I have updated mine to Lollipop 5.0.1 with no issues at all. Follow the instructions from this links. I did a backup of my phone only to find out that I didn't need to, all my data and apps were intact

I own micromax a1 $100 mobile which is on 5.1 lollipop.
But the touch screen and rest all features are not that great as Samsung.
Built quality and features are top notch in Samsung though it is stuck on lower version of android.
Nothing is that great if you run on 4.4.4.
But yes 5.1 lollipop is mind blowing....

Indians (in fact many countries) are yet to get lollipop for Note 4 ...So i dnt see any advantage of having Note 4 now

Come on sammy, SM-910G in Indian NOTE-4 is still running 4.4.4. Where is Lollipop ? you've already started barking about 5.1 ? You will note this in dead sales period of S6. Just let S6 reach their customers hands, they'll be ready to dump after looking LAGWiz run like donkey on Octa-core CPU, you are spoiling Arm-V8's reputation. Just sell your chips to LG & Sony then see the performance difference. Retain your respect by keeping your words, who cares about s6 or edge ?

5.1?! I have a contract free UK version and still there is no 5.0 released for me. I dont know how the rollout process goes. I always read the news about the update and receive it 6 months later! hate android and especially samsung bc for this

It seems like samsung will release note 5 with 5.1 and new touch wiz..after thats its seeded to note 4 only in order give note 5 major hand in the market

That would be awesome. Even better if it also holds true for the S5. Fast updates for a prolonged period can really help Samsung keep on top of the competition.

I have a Note 4 on the Telstra network (Australia).... still no sign of 5.0... i will be lucky if i have it before the Note 5 comes out. :-(
