Total success...I said in my post last night my camera on phone was still not working properly.New pictures taken were all cloudy.
I put my phone back into the bowl of rice completely covered it left in warm place
and today it's taking perfect pictures again.Guess I should have left phone in rice longer than 3 days in warm place.

You need to be patient..and leave it alone in the rice...if you can switch it off..I couldn't for a while...but that sorted itself out.just leave it alone.
My battery and sim card were left in it and have survived with no damage. good luck
1101, 19 May 2016are you kidding?yes!!! putting your 6 edge phone in a bag of rice does work. Or in my case a bowl of rice. My phone fell out of trouser pocket into the toilet.Lifted it out as quick as I could. One worried lady.
Left it in rice for 3 days before it started working properly.
First time I took it out of bowl and tried it it kind of flashed as though it was going to short out. So put it back in the rice and left it on sunny window sill. Give it time and leave it alone.Theary is the rice absorbs the moisture
Uncooked rice of course.
My camera not working quite right yet.
But I live in hope...Yes back in to the rice. No problem with any thing else including watching netflix. good luck

Anonymous, 22 May 2016Wtf... raw rice obviouslyMy S6 fell in a puddle of water two weeks. I didn't notice until someone walking by told me they saw my phone fall out my purse; And let me tell ya, it is still working. It had to be under water for about 60 seconds. I was so scared It would stop working but it hasn't yet. So although it isn't waterproof like the s7, I believe it is built with the same type hardware that the s7 has.
