Actually pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 exceeded those of the S4. It's just the total sales of the S5 that was lower than the S4.
The Galaxy S6 pre-orders doubling the pre-orders of the Galaxy S5 is BIG news. The iPhone 6 certainly didn't double the pre-orders of the iPhone 5s.

Samsung is becoming so desperate now. Trying all of its infamous tricks. They know that they have f*cked up the Galaxy line and are aware of its consequences. They are now just trying as much as they can to lure dumb people into buying it. It would have been better if they had built up on the S5 rather than downgrading it. Oh well looks like Samsung will learn it the hard way this year.

Finally after many years samsung got a decent flagship. The only downside I see in this is that other top makers like htc or LG or even sony are not competing decently at this point, and that means really high off contract prices.

When the S5 came out, it was the plastic back cover (which is not always bad) and that there was not much difference to the S4. Samsung now changed it completely and people still moan. Now with the S6, it's the non-removable battery, sd card, water and dust resistance, moan, moan, moan... Never happy with something.

Haha. lol I guess those fake pre-orders were given by samsung family members all over the world. This is not a iPhone to burst out and send the pre-order before availability. There demand is also falling so drastically.. that in just 2 months their price falls to 40K :) :) :) :) can't resist the fake rumors anymore.
