I'm not sure why you are all so desperate for lollipop on note 4. I've used the DBT version which was awful, and now BOC3 on the 'f' which is better. But in real terms offers nothing exciting over 4.4. If you want it now, use ODIN.
I can also understand why its taking longer (s pen, Gear VR etc).
Kick back and don't get so stressed. Really!

As a Note2 owner (I have 1 more year of warranty), I will be pleased to consider the purchase of any new Samsung equipment again at the day I will get L5.0 update.

The Galaxy Alpha was a test ballon for the 20NM factoring and was selled very few times before they stopped to produce it.
Why use too much developing manpower right now for such a product?
It is way more useful to develop first for products that sell the most.
An stop whining i have an S5 with LP (5.0.0) an you dont wanna have banana software like this. You should be thankful that you receive directly a 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 later with much less bugs.
Only idiots want to have the newest software first.

Best phone ever! Hope Lollipop will come soon even tought it doesn't change much on system side except colors of menu's and adds new lockscreen wich bugs alot on my friends phones who got update.

But it was only a bug fix udpate. Samsung seem to be favouring the Exynos version of the Note 4 here.
Glad to hear the Alpha is in line for the update mind. Despite what many say, it a cracking little device, but it's kind of been abandoned and forgotten very quickly by Samsung. My Local Samsung store in the UK this week took the Alpha off display (not sure if they are even still stocking/selling it) barely 6 months after it's release.

I dont think it will be released untill late 2015 at the best. my contract free snapdragon Note 4 still has not got the lollipop update. its the flagship phone for crying out loud! Sammy seriously sucks in this department

Note 4 and S5 are latest flagship products that still has no lollipop on every country. Everything else should have been updated after these to have these customers buying next Samsung product. They bought latest phones and got screwed with older models getting updates first.

S3 cost me € 500+ in 2013 so with no updates and lagging its cost me € 250 a year

i have note 4...im update my phone to 5.0.1...but not via OTA update..im push it update by odin and with firmware 5.0.1..after the flashing that firmware..i hard reset in and waalahh..hahaha..smooth and clean no laggy about ths rom..only notification quit bit slow to respond at lock screen..hope samsung fix that as soon as possible
The note 4 got the lollipop update???? when did that happen exactly??? I have the N910C version and i'm still struggling with 4.4.4 and when i updated to the Poland 5.0.1 Rom from Sammobile,the device became laggy as hell so i rolled back to Kitkat.
