This is going to be an interesting launch. I'm not a great Apple fan, more on a moral and idealistic level than because of the hardware, but I can admit that the phones look reasonably cool. I can't however envisage seeing one of these watches on someone's wrist without thinking the wearer must be a bit of a c0ck. For the record I wear a sony Sw2 and really like it (great battery life, pretty thin and all the notifications I need) but just can't see the Apple watch ever looking like anything more than a nerdy toy for folk with too much cash and no originality. As I said, I'm watching with interest.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2015It sells for the same reason everything sells - a combination of stupid people, brand loyalist... moreOr in two words, human stupidity.
Human race as a whole is far from an intelligent species, heck it's one of the most stupid ones. It's only the individuals that make humanity seem intelligent.

You can't polish a turd but with a billion dollar marketing budget they are certainly going to try. I love my gadgets but I still won't consider buying this thing it's hideous! Far prefer the Huawei watch which actually looks like one should.

Obviously the directors at Carphone are not all on the same page;

Doesn't Grahm Stapleton know it was just a fews weeks back his dumb boss Sebastian James made a public statement doubting the success of the Apple Watch?

And now Apple isn't giving them any to sell, surprise surprise.
