Next time you contact Motorola can you ask if Moto G (1st Gen.) 2013 UK, XT1068, will also get Lollipop 5+ as promised.
Probably since September 6th 2014 (obtain information from Motorola's Official Forum Moto G (2nd Gen.) 2013 section with 73 pages of people complaining.
What is the purpose of downloading 5.1.0 with the bugs it contain why not install Lollipop 5.1.1 if it solves the apparent bugs in Lollipop 5.1.0?
Every occasion, which you talk to Motorola please could you ask which problems and what things does the latest upgrades (patches) fix?

i updated my moto g from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 i am waiting ror new update when that was going to release

Really, this is a wise decision by Moto. Android 5.0.X has known memory leaks, at times making devices randomly reboot or just unusable until you manually reboot them. In the interest of stability, it's really about not releasing known crap, imho. I applaud them for that. +1
I do run SlimLP 5.0.3 on my OnePlus One, on my Nexus5 AND on my ole Galaxy SII Skyrocket. Yes, GSII. Of course I'm building the ROM myself... lol. Anyway, the OnePlus with 3GB of RAM handles it just fine, but my GSII struggles at times with a mere 768MB of RAM. So those memory leaks are very costly to the GSII, to say the least.
On these newer devices, the issues may be less noticeable, but who wants an "Official" ROM that has known bugs?
We'll have to see what 5.1 brings. Mine's almost compiling... ;)

Still waiting! My 1st gen moto g to update to any version of lollipop! I'm still using KK 4.4.4 is the USA gonna see this update? I received the motorola update from the google store. What the heck is going on!?
