Yes, yes! My year old Moto G will be on 5.1 and the yet to be released S6/S6 Edge is still on 5.0.2. I paid 4 times less too. Chuckle chuckle. Thanks Moto! You rock!!

Yes it's for the original moto E as the new moto E is on Android 5.0!
Ive got android 5.1 on my Nexus 5 and it's speeded things up a bit although I do get the occasional app crash and unlimited screen recorder app forces close the system ui! Battery has improved dramatically!

I wasn't able to download Motorola Update APP on my Moto G LTE.

1 week ago it downloaded itself, so it looks like it's comming soon!!!!

Already got 5.0.2 for My Moto G 2nd 3G version ,I trust Motorola for 5.1 update soon.Its a Motorola Return to the Smart Phone world.

writing your impatience here will not land you to an OS update, wait for update and do work that are important.

But we have to say that only Verizon's Droid Turbo skipped 5.0. Here in Brazil the Moto Maxx received 5.0.2 and we had no words about 5.1. I don't know if we'll have issues about some models of these devices.
