joe sHmoe, 03 Apr 2015My god why are apple fans commenting here and almost saying that their phones are made by tita... moreLet nothing suprise you, look how thier store staff are voting daily to keep thier phone relavant in the daily interesr chart tables, its comical to watch them keep lifting it ba k up for no reason, the s6 is causing them plenty worry, iphones only sell because of the implanted public belief that its the best, but if they dont do overtime on thread spoiling duty, and web/media manipulation, 'n' get some spoiler utube vids, and these american statistic firms stories telling how they've tested the screen , camera etc etc etc and how they found the iphone to still be 20 years ahead in technology and bend an break quality, then the s6 is changing thier percieved position on an hourly basis..ha ha expect to see the iphone on top of the interest chart in the next 5 minutes, oooh I do wonder whats sparked all the new interest in the iphone dont you, let me see, its not just come out, no, its not christmas rush , no, mmmm wonder what can it be....lol.

It doesn't mean that certain factors in Lolipop will compensate this. But the supposedly hours increase in battery-life on e.g. the SGS5 are highly suspicious and should be taken with a (large) grain of salt.
If Lolipop would have taken the battery-saving capabilities of AMOLed into consideration (use black as much as possible) then battery-savings would be "better" than what we have now.
This same logic dictates that on LCD-equipped devices Lolipop should have a positive impact on battery-life (which then get nullified by using higher resolutions and bigger screens).
Either way we are duped! And as a true believer of conspiracy theory, I'm convinced that GSMArena is also in this plot! It's always the same: where's Special Agent Fox Mulder when you need him!

Cause its 64hr S6 and 83hr S5. That's a 19hr difference.
I'm imagining some software update will improve this. Also that many other places give the s6 slightly better results compared to the pre release unit that gsm rushed a review on. They also say the speaker is quieter when videos have shown it to be clearly louder. So I don't know.
