I just don't get Samsungs logic. Making chips for Apple when Apple had the cheek to sue them in court for infringement. If it had not been for Samsung the I phone may never of happened. As it uses samsung chips.

What an idiotic comment, Apple is a minute part of Samsung's business.

Intel is a x86 tech company, so is AMD which has the x86 tech licensed from Intel. Intel will never license ARM's tech, cause they have their Atom's for the ultra mobile market, which Apple can't touch and modify.

loubielou, 03 Apr 2015This just shows to the Public that something was Happening Between these Two Companies,When Ap... moreThe iPhone 6 uses the frame and shape if devices like the note 1 and Ativ. Aka Samsung design.
The s6 and iPhone 6 look very different. Different front back and sides. And shape too. Even the frame despite some using Samsung shape frame because Samsung went for a new design in frame.

The only similarities are that they both have a speaker and headset jack at the bottom. And the rounded frame apple copied.
                      How is that copying?
And if it was then it would again be apple doing the copying.
Samsung has phones that had a speaker at the bottom since at least 2009/ and the grills are different. One row for apple and two for Samsung. Plus it was logical because of the glass back.
And Samsung had phones with headset jacks at the bottom at least two years before the iPhone 5 had one.

So learn your facts. It's ridiculous how many articles so arrogantly say Samsung copied the iPhone.
And what would you expect then to have done? Because apple used so much Samsung cues in their design now Samsung has to radically change theirs?
                      Use triangular/squared frame/speaker holes?
Put the speaker and headset on the side?
Not use plastic cutouts for improved antenna? Even though that's the only logical thing to due on a phone with metal and they are different shapes and placement already??????

                      Logic... Where has it gone??

AnonD-375420, 03 Apr 2015Samsung is a slave ..because if they deny working for Apple, many other will love to do that ,... moreExcept barely anyone else can do it. Samsung can deny it and still make money else where.

Some on the other hand relies on Samsung for their parts. And it's other parts too like the memory. Parts that only Samsung can produce in as high of quality, high if quantity, and fast enough.
Even when apple went to tmsc last year they still had to go back and have Samsung pick up some of the production of the a chip because tmsc couldn't keep up with all the orders.

So if Samsung denied to make the a chip, memory, and other parts for apple they would basically have to give up making the iPhone.

Though since it's apple there is one other alternative. They would still find other companies, but only make limited quantities, call it limited edition, and charge more for it.
