AnonD-383006, 06 Apr 2015Its too much expensive, you can get oneplus one, honor 6 MI4,zenfone 2 less than this crap,16 GB... morebrands like Gionee and oppo are targeting a different group of buyers. Those uninformed buyers who walk into a store without any knowledge of what they are buying.

AnonD-4340, 05 Apr 2015Weak for the price but the ignorant think performance comes from number of cores lol. No wonde... moreWah! Another misinformed view aimed to misdirection buyers.

Snapdragon 800 is a very bad chip. Power hungry and slow compared to A53 based chips. Single core performance is juuuust a bit faster but multicore performance is not even close.

For your information (and those results are mirrored in eeeevery application in existence , except games).

                  MT6752 (A53): http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/1300776
                  Snapdragon 800: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/2258806

This is a great phone. Almost as fast as last year's flagships and certainly faster than S4. Don't be fooled people Qualcomm cores are old news, either wait for their newer cores or buy the new cores. Don't buy into that heat inducing slow stuff (the old Qualcomm cores that is).

AnonD-4340, 05 Apr 2015Weak for the price but the ignorant think performance comes from number of cores lol. No wonde... moreA53 cores are actually very fast. Each A53 core (of MT6752) is in fact as fast as a krait core of Snapdragon 800.

And yes many cores matter, mostly to battery life (the Soc doesn't have to work as hard as the load is balanced between cores) but also performance wise as Android has a million processes running at the same time, so having them being worked by 2-4 cores means that there are 4-6 cores always free. So even if your app only supports quad cores it would still be faster (in an octa core) than in a quad core

I think the price is fair considering what you get. Dual 4G Sim maybe a killer feature aswell. Atleast its better value than Samsung A7. Hope GSMArena reviews it soon.

Weak for the price but the ignorant think performance comes from number of cores lol. No wonder they dont try to sell these lemons in western markets, the S800 Galaxy S4 LTE+ cost less and has 5x the effective performance. Octa Core A7 or A53 is bottom of the bin, why even consider one, how gullible are people these days, $400+ for this low end CPU, and in addition its supposed to push Full HD?? This is robbery in broad daylight.
