I really don't understand what's wrong with Sony. Yes, you can point out a few issues but that's the same case with every company. Sony has always been a big name & in recent years Z series delivered but sales never took off. Sad nevertheless.

T-MOBILE pulled a similar stunt with BB which ended their relationship.
Hopefully they understand one day SONY is an important niche in USA!

Sony xperia Z3 user here. Should I be worry about the updates? The phone is great, way better than Z and Z1. Maybe just like someone mentioned it's the 6months cycle that Sony is doing. The design is classic, and the UI are better than most other Phones.

the answer is simple: they are clearing z3 off the shelves, in order to make room for the z4 which is about to come!

Good news, Z3 is the worst phone i seen, the display is painful to look at and full of garbage software. Build quality is another concern, self cracking glass was never on the top most wanted features list.

I am not surprised. I work in a phone shop in the UK and not a single person have sold a Sony phone in over 5 months now in my store. its crazy.

The reason they took it out of the store is because people changed the language settings for the Z3 at multiple T-Mobile stores throughout the U.S. I know this, because I have been to quite a few T-Mobile stores, and each one that had the Z3 had it's language changed to something else.
