Anyways a stupid assumption by the newsitem writer, as they still have Z and Z1s on stock.
Those would be unnavailable long ago now if the real reason were lowsales in USA
More probably they sold their stock of z3's, or some other reason

T-MOBILE pulled a similar stunt with BB which ended their relationship.
Hopefully they understand one day SONY is an important niche in USA.
