Note 4 is the best device I've ever had but it's hard to wait for the update to Lollipop. Still stuck with Kitkat.
My model "SM-910G" BNG. :-(

You do not want it. Trust me. I have received the first build of 5.0.1, and so far Lollipop is not stable (and I do not talk about Samsung, but Lollipop generally). You would not even start to guess the problems we had with our Nexus Devices (so I am not talking about branded Android).
It is true, the above update makes the phone work a bit better, but compared to 4.4.4 it came out with, it is nowhere there. So take my advice, do not upgrade, keep 4.4.4 until there are enough reports that Lollipop is stable.

PS: Even the latest 5.1 is bad ... so ... no, it is not Samsung slacking, oh well, that too, but nobody really has the guts for a full roll-out of a such massively bugged system.

My model is N910H; stuck with 4.4.4.

All iPhone users always deliver the latest iOS version within a month, but Samsung users never have any opportunity to taste the latest Android version.

Battery life significantly decreased after update Android 5.0.1. Hope Samsung will rollout new batch or some firm ware updates to sort out the issue.

I ran the update this morning and now my settings are no longer accessible on Note 4. What's up with that?

By silent mode, do they mean blocking mode???

I ask as I flashed the earlier 5.0 build onto my Note 4 a few days back and it completly removed the blocking mode and replaced it with that almost useless google 'priority' feature, and worst is that it didn't even have the full functionality you get on say a Nexus device in that you could not schedule it.

Have since flashed back to 4.4.4.

I was also expecting faster updates for the flagship GN4. I will go for a Sony next time.
