One day Microsoft will learn from their mistakes. People will buy some similar spec apple phones for 50k. Because apple has some mad loyal crazy fans. There will be some sort of hype always about their products. Those fans will wait outside for hours to buy their phones on the first day when their phone launched. But no one is mad about your phones and you didn't create much hype about your products Microsoft. So they won't buy your products at that price. Even though your product is good, people always think it's pricey because your marketing is not that much good in India. But I think pricing a product is very crucial in a market like India. If you serious about Indian market which is huge compare to other Asian markets, 10k for 640 and 13k for 640 xl will be apt....

people who are saying overpriced pls dont buy it. it is correctly priced by the way. compare it with moto g or samsung grand prime or sony e. 640 or 640xl costs little less.
I thought 640xl would cross 18000Rs. but perfectly priced. 640 is also not costly but bit tough price point.

Lumia 640 didn't priced well on India. 12k for it won't be good when there are better add devices like motog2 and upcoming Asus zenphone 2.
Lumia 640xl price is good anyway. People should take 730 instead of 640. It is better
