They should of announced the G4 already, people who are planning on getting an S6 will have no reason not to get an S6 because we know nothing of the G4 other then the aperture on the camera. Guess what, i'm not cancelling my S6 preorder based on the cameras aperture being .1 better. Tell us more, expandable storage, removable battery, premium design, and maybe they can get those the customers on fence about the S6.

You need as much GPU power as you can get to drive these 2k screens, now I don't care what anyone says the G3 (and it's Adreno 330) didn't have it.

Personally the 805 would be a good option for the G4, the Adreno 420 is more powerful than the 808's Adreno 418, and Krait is a mature and capable architecture.

But then I suppose 64-bit is the buzzword everyone wants to hear, so that's not likley to happen.

810 is fine. it doesn't overheat!
the overheating is a spin that Samsung invented to confuse the press for the real reason for sticking only to the exynos chipset.

Samsung chose exynos because it's own chip, and it's 14nm.

      there are no overheating problems!

it's a fact that all the other flagships are using 810: htc m9, sony z4 and lg flex2.

      go read at semiaccurate!!!

Because SD 810 overheats way too Much and would throttle to give a shitty performance just like the G flex 2 when it heats
LG was very smart with this choice
It would heat less than SD 810 but performance ddifference should be neglectable (I hope I said it right)

Just optimise the spftware properly.. Tried s6 edge and it seriously impressed me... Hope for the best.. But even if camera gives a competetion, s6 smashes it in performance and that is a fact...

Its very simple, the 810 chipset has known overheating issues. When the chip starts to overheat throttling occurs thereby degrading performance. Very smart move by LG to go with the 808...

I would say at the very least FHD, or maybe even QHD or highly unlikely UHD (4K), because LG likes to push the boundaries.

Because of the higher contrast, better battery life and of course the OIS i find the G2 to still be LGs real flagship. Not to mention how much cheaper the G2 is and the fact that it has a more reasonable size
