The first storm had a shockingly bad ''touch screen'', although you couldn't really call it a touch screen as it's one big shoddy button. If the screen on this new one resembles the old one in any way, I may as well straight up /facepalm this phone already.
its says on the comercial large screen , have ever heard about omnia hd 3.7 crystal amoled display, come on blackberry is that all u got 3.2 camera , there is 12.1 mpix camera wake up from stone age
Played about with my friends one two weeks ago and was very nice although they could not say "it was the new storm". But they for RIM and had the new Bold which was also very good.
Milky, 15 Oct 2009Don't know wether to buy the Storm 2 or the Nokia N900. Help please?!There's no comparison - get the N900!
I got one of these on contract with VF last year, sluggish OS , poor 3G signal, random rebooting whilst in the middle of conversations. It has taken RIM nearly a year to release a firmware update which made the phone workable, too late RIM/VF. I will be looking for more than the addition of a so called better touchscreen and the addition of Wifi, Apple Corp can get away with relatively minor phone updates as they can say if it's not broken why fix it. Unfortunately the same does not apply to the Blackberry Storm i'm afraid...
This one will beat many devices on the market ... So I'm really sorry for those who don't go with Blackberry !! Cheers
The handsets in the UK will only be available and locked to Vodafone. No SIM free variant will be sold. Only unlocked units on ebay.
Benny Otter, 15 Oct 2009Oh joy, another one. As if the first one wasn't bad enough.i know i had three origanals that all had a battery life of an hour!
i hope this 1 is better than the storm 1 cuz storm 1 was so bad in so many ways .. i hope they really fixed the screen and nice to have wifi cant wait to see this
