Does anyone know how to upgrade to Lollipop on an unlocked Galaxy S4? I checked for an update and it won't show. Neither would Kies.

Upgraded recently -- screen lock wallpaper can't be changed (ok for hm screen wallpaper changes)

Its not working it locks up kicks me out of facebook. Takes a long time to load google look up stuff. Shuts off my home wifi goes to xfinity wifi. Having nothing but trouble. Help.

Saved me but some apps are having issues like amazon music new radio stations won't let me access drop down menu.

I can no longer move apps around. Says touch wizard has stopped. This really sucks hope there's a fix soon.

below average, i have so many problems with this is ridiculous, and the update was forced on me. i cannot change lay out, i cannot change lock screen picture, wifi won't work, it broke many of my apps. there is nothing i like about it.

Awful update, phone so slow and crashes every five mins. Apps not working correctly, very bad update.

I have downloaded this and now my phone is playing up the touch wiz doesn't work every time I do something and go back to home home page touch wiz comes On i press always but it still comes back then the easy mode comes on and now Facebook won't update my home page can I get rid of this version

I will not update to the apple-esque white i-sore screens.
I prefer black on my oled panel and value battery life more than a iOS looking phone.
I'll wait till its possible to add 3rd party dark themes before I turn to 5.0
Kitkat for me until things change.

Lollipop 5.0 on S4 sucks hard. The phone is working slow, it has a lot of bugs, the color scheme cannot be changed if the phone is not rooted. I will downgrade to 4.4.2.

There are some major concerns, regarding Galaxy S4 that needs to be addressed!
I do own a Galaxy S4 (I9505). Got that Lollipop 5.0.1 upgrade about two weeks ago. And noticed quite few issues:
1) Storage. It says when you upgrade, that it should shrink the OS and that this update should save you 1-2 GB of storage. Tho it does not. It actualy take about that much more than Kitkat.
2) Battery Life. I noticed that battery life dropped about 20-25%. (about 1/5 to 1/4 of what it use to be.) I would say it is due to more demanding apps. Like dial screen and text screens now being white and bright consumes a lot more energy than previouse version that was black.
3) WIFI!!! OMG, this is the most annoying issue ever! And no one is up to fix it. It takes at least 5 times longer to connect to wifi, wifi sometimes drops and etc. Now I just hate using wifi. Before, I was just turning it on/off, to save time and battery life..
To wrap up - I would not recommend to upgrade to lollipop 5.0.1 untill these problems would be fixed. Trust me.

Does anyone know when GT-I9505 will get a Lollipop update? I feel like this is now the only version of S4 not promoted to Lollipop.
