Gary5, 08 Apr 2015Way to go Sammy. You only had
Core prime pl... moreI love the way Samsung develops new products and technologies at a rapid pace.
You have to be very fast in this type of business or You'll end up like Japan Inc and Nokia.
for the exact same specs as the j7, I am using a phone i bought new last month for $110 with a 4000mh battery. the price of j7 should be at most $180 to justify the big company name.
Way to go Sammy. You only had
Core prime plus
Ace 2 & 3
s duos 2
Grand neo Prime
Grand Max (exclusive to Snapdeal)
These 2 phones will really give your prospective customers some more choice. Thank you once again for making the mighty s6 just another Samsung phone.
Yani2000, 08 Apr 2015Looking at J5 specs, if it costs over 250 EURO it's going to be a big fail! Just look at Gala... moreYou are right but mist Samsung users aren't that educated. They generally go to a mobile shop & ask for the latest Samsung phone in their budget. A year old phone is very Old phone for them.
The Main Man, 08 Apr 2015Well its not everyone that can afford a flagship so a midrange would suffice. What's so crappy... moreyou are half right although the amount of midrange phones they push out it a bit ridiculous, they should at least have one set "midrange" product line rather than "j" "e" "a" "fame" "ace" ect... since it can confuse their market users and having most of these phones share very similar specs then you can see that there is no point in flooding the midrange market they can at least let one product over run the shelf expected shelf life of one yearish than throw out a brand new product variation with a new name on it.
Well its not everyone that can afford a flagship so a midrange would suffice. What's so crappy about it? Its a midrange phone and the price hasn't been announced.
Samsung can flood the market with as many phones as they want, you are not their manager.
Looking at J5 specs, if it costs over 250 EURO it's going to be a big fail!
Just look at Galaxy S3 Neo on Amazon. It costs 185 EURO!
J5 has over S3 Neo:
- bigger battery
- better chipset
And nothing else. Only downside might me that it could be a bit bigger because of 0.2" bigger screen.
that phone will cost max 200$ with those specs. not even worth the galaxy part.
And here I thougt Samsung will be releasing few phonse this tym. They just don't stop filling the market worthless cr@ppy midrangers with poor price to performance ratio.
