Hey I have just updated my phone to Lollipop 5.1 on Sony Z3,my phone went to slumber.Cant access my contacts or mail please sony help!It keeps on restarting.

pictures getting lost, videos getting lost. and whats more is when i went for a lolipop update, phone is in continuous boot loop.

i m also experiencing the same problem, bro. Mine is not even restarting and got completely hanged :(

I got Lollipop update for my Z Ultra on 15th but after the update device is hanging and restarting at its own. Let's hops sony will release a fix for this soon.

I am in Fremont, California and I just got the Lollipop 5.1 OTA on my Z Ultra GPE right after I did the 5.0 OTA update last night. Update was smooth but it did break my 802.11ac connection. I have to downgrade to 802.11n 2.4GHz to use Wi-Fi. Boot up time was 60 seconds compared to 48 seconds with KitKat 4.4.4. Battery usage seemed to be normal 68% left since 8:30 am and projected to last another 18 hours.

Z ultra standard model (Non gpe) lollipop has been confirmed for global rollout beginning next week. Sony have confirmed this on their twitter feed. So check for updates on your handsets from next week

Could not agree more about Samsung. I own the Note 3. They are rolling out 5.0, not even 5.0.1 or 5.0.2, after 5.1 is available and as you rightly say there are problems. Then again should we be surprised given that there are known issues with 5.0 and still Samsung pushed it out and for the icing on the cake they cannot even be bothered to make announcements about 5.0.2, let alone 5.1. When a company can roll out an outdated build with known issues they can forget ever getting any more business from me.

friends of mine, samsung users (mainly) early adopters mostly, upgraded their phones as soon as the 1st release was available. the result? crash after crash after crash...downgrade, those who could and knew how. the others? changing phones. Me? still waiting for Sony to do a good job with the upgrade. from my experience all their upgrades come later than the rest of the brands but comes stable. and for me whats important is stability not the sooner the better 'cause it looks like the sooner the worst.

crazys this update directly developed by google and sony just release this for zu gpe . don t ask about your sony zu or other models.planning for zu gpe is work of google.but z ultra users can wait for ported version of 5.1 rom from zu gpe .. go to xda lol

that phone! i kinda wish i had it instead of nexus 4! but anyway it was more expensive back than and if i did i would never experience nexus...! but if i had this i wouldn't need to upgrade to note 4 now :D
