Sony doesn't have OIS and still it wipes the floor with your so called OIS on Sammy mobiles... The only thing where Sony lags is bad algorithm... Even then, Sony is great in Manual mode.. Only auto mode sucks.. Then imagine, what all wonder it can do with perfect algorithm... So no wonder why Sammy got to ditch their ISOCELL and come back to Sony... And ISOCELL is some lameass gimicky marketing name... There's nothing special about it... Now apply some ice water around the burnt area... Goodbye...!!!

But G4 should also have DDR4 ram. And this camera may possibly prove to be formidable.
Though if it is that display LG showed off it should still have a much improved display from G3.
Battery life doesn't seem likely, but I bet LG doesn't want to sit behind Samsung and is going to try and bring a decent battery.

Still Sony is superior to Sammy in sensor tech and apply some common sense, why couldn't they implement OIS to their sensor then... Sammy was nowhere near to Sony before Android came into scene... And WTF, Sammy was bested by on Nokia...??? Are U mad... Sammy had oogd camera, YES... But never compare it with Cybershot series... U must be really stupid to say Sammy was better than Sony... Afterall I'm dealing with Fanboy troll who has no idea how things were before Android came into scene... It's a no brainer to compare any of crap models to compare with Cybershot series... Now go take rest...!!!

I already own G3 and G2 but the G4 has not a chance against the S6 which has DDR4 and Fast memory storage.

Not Sony. And falling on their gave would imply that they were bad sensors when in fact they are great senors. Just because they used Sony doesn't mean it failed it worked great. What a foolish thing to say.
The difference between the S5 to the Note 4 and S6 with Sony sensor is not in the sensor, but in OIS and wider aperture lens. Plus the S5 had great phase detection. First phone to have it. Among Samsung's other forests in cameras.
Try using logic
And um no. Before android v Samsung was ahead. Only bested by Nokia. And Samsung also released the first to almost every camera update. All the way to the first 12mp which was better than the Sony one that followed. And they also made the first phone that could record and first to play HD video.
You obviously never compared any of those older sensors.

People seem to forget the difference between sensor and module. Im pretty sure this will be an IMX240 sensor from Sony, same as Note 4/S6, then they add their huge lens and OIS and what not and that is a module.

It was reavealed later that your so called inhouse-made ISOCELL was made by Sony only expect for s5... And Sammy is beating Sony in camera only after Android era started.. Before that, they used to bow down infront of Cybershot series... Nothing can stand against Cybershot... So don't say anything for the sake of saying...!!!
And samething will happen with LG... They'll come back to Sony or this itself will be revealed to a Sony sensor... Who knows...!!!

And the Note 4 as they mentioned contradicted themselves and was unrelated. And the S6 actually does have better usage tomes than the S5, just not better call time. Buy it had much more efficient parts.
So your anorexic blame doesn't make sense. And the G3 though 8.9mm and slightly taller than G2 used the same size battery. 3000mah. And that's including the G Pro 2 which came out almost 6 months prior and was 0.6mm thinner and still had about 200mah bigger battery.
And that's one of the contributing reasons it has worse battery life than the G2.
So unless LG made this new display a lot more efficient and upped the battery to at least 3400 may it probably won't do that great.
And if they made the device even thicker and they don't use at least 3400-3600mah battery they are wasting space and sabotaging what could be stellar battery life.

So depending on how good a sensor they made, how large it is, and the size of the pixels. If all that ads up well and the mix that F1.8 with good software it could very well be great. Can't wait. It would be interesting if one of the competitors actually one upped Samsung in camera.

You said how much it improves over its predecessor. Aka the S5. News flash the Note 4 had a bigger battery and lasted longer than the S5 also. It's also a bigger devices.
And um efficiency counts for a lot. What are you talking about? And have you been under a rock?
The S6 indeed does have better battery then the S5. It lays longer inn CPU intensive tasks and in web browsing and video payback. All that despite it having a brighter higher res screen with a smaller battery.
Pretty much all ways except call time. Buy that can change still.
