S6 drop tests seem fine but I am more concerned as a faithful Samsung user of not having an SD card port and a no removable battery on my phone than anything else. I think Samsung made a big mistake by going the Apple way on this phone. I have been using Samsung phones exclusively since 2003 and I think it might change if the Note 5 does not include these two important features for people who like to use their phone all day long when they are on a business trip for instance.
The Note 5 better have a SD port and a removable battery, otherwise a lot of people (me included) will turn to other phone makers for their next phablet.
Some of you are plain stupid... This phone is not damage proof... This is not the Samsung s6 active, where that's water proof and damage proof from a certain limit.. It's like a led TV.. You drop it game over... But when your spending that kind of money.. You take care of it simple..
my note 3 n900 screen is broken n also the tempered glass...height was lower den chest n the floor was concrete

FullMag on Youtube did a drop test of Galaxy S6 Edge and it didn't shatter...
Tjobby, 09 Apr 2015Anyone who writes 'better' about these phones in general have clearly not been using both. IPhone-users favourite sentence is: "You have to use an iPhone first to see/feel how good it is, it's not about features."
I am never going to buy an iPhone. Convince me that an iPhone is worth the money. Maybe you can change my mind.
Yep, rigorous reliability test, I remember my Galaxy s4 cracked it's screen by falling down from sofa to carpeted floor. thats how cheap it's made.

darkraver, 09 Apr 2015You really want to keep silent when S6 drop test comes to discussion: https://m.youtube.com... moreAccidental dropping is different and bending is different. People can bend the iPhone with their hands, which makes iPhone 6 Plus more bothersome.
You really want to keep silent when S6 drop test comes to discussion:
As Fragile as it can be
Companies drop testing their own products and releasing it to the public is like winning a race that you hosted with your own rules and brag the whole world about it. Remember, Samsung tested the Note 4 the back pocket test and didn't bend. In reality, with the same strength as the iOverpricedphone 6 Plus, it bends. I've lost trust in you Shamesung

If not then don't pass any judgement. Come on guys, please don't be blind haters. If you want to hate for SD Card slot and removable battery then it is atleast justifiable by you. Don't troll blindly.

But I... moreIf any iBaby reads your comment then they will start saying ios is optimized. I have seen many of iPhone users find very hard to receive the calls by swapping the screen. The explanation from Apple will be, they don't know how to attend the calls or holding the phone.
Shamesung, my Xperia Z3 drop mamy time in concrete last drop it has a smal crack but after drop on conrete the survival the drop.
But you Shamesung have to shame about your self pitty test.
I am not saying that 600,700,800 pounds/dollars or whatever are good prices for a phone. But I think, it's justified for the technology which Samsung offer with the S6/edge. They are probably not cheap. At the moment, there is no other phone which could keep up with these two phone.
Apple is asking similar prices for their phones but what do they actually offer for these prices with the specs and features which 200,300 pounds/dollars Android phones have?
Samsung > Apple
No Fan Boy...!, 09 Apr 2015And even anything running IOS is not even worth of $300...!Good One. Infact, no phone deserves to be more than $400 price tag. These IOS iBabies only know to cry for their iToys and every time saying the same thing about IOS optimised and all bullshits to hide the fact of inferior specs for paying $700.
We don't want to defend S6 to be worth $600 or $700, but iBabies will defend their iToys for the price. Disgusting
No Samsung please test it on concrete you will then see cracks and scuffs
