The Z3 is the most comfortable phone ever so I think they kept the Z4 the same cause of that. I hope it has ir blaster and fingerprint scanner. The z4 is quite popular now so hopefully sony will advertise it a lot when its announced.

Whether or not this is an amazing phone (and from the specs leak, it's likely to be comparable, if slightly less to the competition) - the problem is 'same old, same old' syndrome that Sammy faced last year and the year before...
When you upgrade your phone after 2 years or whatever you want it to at the very least LOOK different and FEEL different... it's the same issue for the M9 vs M8 - they're solid, but unremarkable...
PLUS this is coming to market MONTHS after the monster flagships have already set sail... Sony needs to re-invent itself next year with a vengeance, otherwise they're going to be dead in the water before they know it... :/

I thought it's Xperia Z2 with lollipop at my first glance. And after I noticed the front facing camera and sensor changed place, I've just realised that the phone is Z4:(
