I have updated my Note edge from Kitkat to Lollipop 5.0 and decided to never update any program unless search for readers reviews. Battery drains, heats up if you use mobile for 15 minutes continuously. IT will restore all from old version and also from SD card. Seems samsung is going to fade its image in the market on their mobiles. S6/ s6 edge and Note edge are having issues and no response from samsung.

Suck-it-up, 10 Apr 2015Still not recd it on my UAE N9005...How messed up is that? :(I know bro...i got fedup waiting for the update and then i realized why should i wait for it and then rooted my phone and flashed CyanogenMod 12.....now im enjoying stock lollipop the latest build and my device is the smoothest it ever was and its way better than the shitty touchwiz firmware.....

I got lollipop update last month on my Note 3.
Believe it or not, battery life of my beloved Note 3 came down from 30-36 hours to 8-12 hours.
I unplug my phone at 9am before leaving for office, by the time it is 12 noon, the battery has drained to 50% with remaining time of 8 hours. and by the time it is 6pm, it is down to 10% and there is no guarantee that it will accompany me in my long commute. I have to recharge the phone before I leave my office.
Google please fix this bug or give me an option to go back to kitkat. I paid $800 for this phone in India. Cant afford to go to iPhone or Lumia.
