In fact Nokia used Toshiba sensors just like HTC has in the M9. Your comment makes no sense it is not even English. There is no camera noise I don't think you know what that means. There is not blue everywhere in daylight. That's called the sky.

Raiden, 10 Apr 2015HTC has always bad camerasNot true. The One X had a great camera. The One M7 had a great camera. The M8 had a great camera and the M9 has a great camera. In fact Nokia used an older version of the camera in the M9 in the 930. Nice try with the lies though.

Sunny, 10 Apr 2015I dont knw why ppl are buying HTC M9 wen u can get samsung S6 Or S6 Edge ?? Because the S6 and S6 Edge suck. The HTC One M9 is superior in every way. Not to mention the S6 is vile looking. Only someone with no taste would by Samsung.

AnonD-259545, 10 Apr 2015It might get slightly better but there won't be a big difference. There won't be a big difference? You are either lying or don't know what you are talking about. A software update can make a gigantic difference. The camera hardware is near perfect. A 20M.7 Toshiba Sensor. Toshiba makes some of the best sensors around. In fact Nokia used Toshiba sensors in the Lumia devices which were always considered to have the best cameras and in fact the Lumia 930 had a very similar 20MP toshiba sensor and was universally praised as being the best smartphone camera. So next time do some research. The camera on the M9 is already great and huge improvements can be made through software updates. That's just a fact.

Shouldn't have screw up in the first place. They have a year to get the camera right but didn't and release the phone anyway.

Raiden, 10 Apr 2015HTC has always bad camerasI thought that those Ultrapixel camera's were actually good (I'm probably the only one here). The only let down was their 4MP size when everybody else (exept Apple) had 12/13MP. I can't imagine that HTC couldn't create an 8MP Ultrapixel module which would be far less criticized then the old 4MP one.

My Nokia 808PV also produces 8MP images that are quality-wise above anything else on the market (including my S5). I'm convinced that an 8MP Ultrapixel would have made most of us happy for the time being.

Now they reverted to a camera-module which they can't properly utilize due to not having the know-how in imaging-software-development for that particular module. Fools.

They fix one thing and break another. But at least HTC confirm that is a fuck-up and they DO (or try to do) something about it. Which should be applauded instead of bemoaned.
