I think Samsung should concentrate on the premium market and build a reputation as a permium manufacturer. I just don't see how this can phone compete with efforts from the Chinese companies.
What is this! Can't Samsung make a good mobile for people who want a budget mobile! With Samsung make a mobile with 1gb ram 4.7" ips display snapdragon410 or mediatek 1.5ghz quad core processors. Front camera 2mp and back camera 5mp with flash, accelerometer, light sensor, gps, wifi, magnetometer and a2300 mah removable battery. And all those at rs10000.
So, what happened to the release less phone SKUs you talked about last year?
Never change, Samsung.

You people want more and more from a low price range. Pathetic. Just because a few Chinese companies are giving value products with an excellent price attached to it. But think of Samsung and it's outlets and service reach. How much it will cost the damn company?!! I'm no Samsung fan boy. I have a redmi 1s. Just think practically.

JiM, 10 Apr 2015So what is the difference with E5....?Does not has amoled display.. and camera is 13 mp
I love/hate how the "front camera" name has now evolved into a "selfie unit" !
This looks good, I hope the price is right.
Almost half of the built-in 8GB of storage is apparently taken up by system files and 4.7GB are left to the user.
Isn't this going to be confusing for buyers? There appears to be no tangible difference between the J series and the E series. They're having the same chipsets, the same RAM, even the same screens. So what would one buy, if one were to buy at all (I'll have a Xiaomi, thanks).
