AnonD-66693, 12 Apr 2015I don't think so.In the gaming department, it will. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been shown to lag a bit with the graphical setting maxed out on the S6, but plays flawlessly without any hiccups on the One M9.

      YEAY!!!
Removable battery & SD card slot!! :))
My prayers have been answered (even though I'm atheist!)
This could be next one for me :))
FINALLY an OEM still applying practical considerations to a flagship device.
      Bring it LG :)

Truth Agent, 12 Apr 2015ips quantum can beat amoled? What it does beat it in is being much less susceptible to screen burn-in, which my S5 exhibits.

Truth Agent, 12 Apr 2015ips quantum can beat amoled?True, since blacks are turned off with Amoled displays, thus saving power, but nevertheless it should, in theory, have a better battery life than the IPS panel employed on the G3. Again, let's wait till actual figures are released.

Already better than S6 and S6 Edge due to removable battery and SD slot. It seems Samsung has lost this one. Hopefully it comes with 64GB internal storage as well. :)

So G4 comes with 808, which has Adreno 418. That is simply not powerful enough for year 2015. Comparison with S6. Infact it looks less powerful that last year's Note 4.

                    https://gfxbench.com/compare.jsp?benchmark=gfx31&D1=LG+G4+%28F500x%2C+H815%29&os1=Android&api1=gl&D2=Samsung+Galaxy+S6+Edge+%28SM-G925x%2C+SC-04G%29&cols=2

Also, CPU is also not very powerful.

                    http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/compare/2304010?baseline=2217075

Only thing which might save LG is the batterylife. Since the SOC is so underpowered, it should give better batterylife.

Truth Agent, 12 Apr 2015ips quantum can beat amoled?Lol never! S6 Amoled is best display in a smartphone ever.
IPS on G3 was one of the worsz displays in a smartphone ever! This one will be little better i hope, but nothing comes close to Amoled!

I am little disappointment by lg g4.. It's slightly bigger than lg g3. No fingerprint scanner. No water resistance,it have back speaker. I expect lg will have very thin bezel but it have bigger than lg g3... Display and camera is good but lg miss to concentrate on design... It not looks like premium design...

Wow, this is the first time I've been genuinely interested in an LG phone. As always it possesses commonality, but with flare that doesn't attempt to be anything else, like slim, metal or gimmicky. It's refined. But does everything a phone should. Nice move LG.

Hope, the brgthness of color is higher than iphone 6 plus. Then it'll be really good.

Huge disappointment if that is it. Nothing special design wise and the leather is something to distract from the otherwise boring design. The leather is the type of desperate trick Apple would resort to.

I hope LG passes the 810 for the 808 or 805. Yeah that may take it out of the competition from latest tech flagships but 810's overheating issue and inconsistent performance definitely saw a guy in endurance in One M9 and the G flex2. Plus 64 bit processors need 4GB Ram!!!!! Otherwise a very good device...
