for us we love a phone that can easily replace the back cover anytime we got bored or when it got scratched, and Micro SD card is a big help we can expand the limited memory of the phone.
DESIGN?
for me both g4 and s6 are goodlooking phones but g4 is more appealing to me maybe the s6 edge is more premium but still i will love g4 due to the REAR KEYS, CLASSIC LOOKING LEATHER BACK and the UNIQUE CURVED screen.
Display?
in terms of display again its a matter of choice I always love and prefer IPS or LCD over AMOLED.
BATTERY?
how about the battery life on the G4?
LG had received millions of complains about the G3's average battery performance so expect LG will likely to be fixed that on the G4.
CAMERAS?
g3 does have a good camera and surly G4 will do even better and you can't say s6's camera is better since you have yet to review the phone.
but i think G4's 8mp selfie is better than s6's 5mp selfie cam. we will see soon...

Second, first... moreI would be concerned if there weren't some complaints, it would mean people hadn't really tried that hard (it's a very young phone with very early software that just got to market. Man made it, not some divine flawless entity).
You seem to be oblivious of the long list of complaints that go along anything that has a Snapdragon 810 (read all other competitors), so it's laughable that you decided the "I heard a complaint" route -- we would be here counting the numerous complaints even the unlaunched rivals with Snapdragon 810 will undoubtedly have.
Anyone who can interpret all sorts of benchmarks already got the "proof" you blissfully ask for... and some of those benchmarks were already real-life usage that measured not just raw performance but actual user experience.

The G3 was the best phone I ever owned. The G4 looks like giving us mainly cosmetic improvements. I don't care about the camera. To get me excited, I would have to see a battery with at least 50% more staying power.

It seems to be good but I will get s6 any day over this... SD 810 is a failure and people are not ready to accept this...
Camera is exciting but we have already seen than very little difference in aperture will not at all make a lot of difference...
I do not need a removable battery and Super amoled display is much better than any display on earth for mobiles...
It is for those who want removable battery.. Thats it...

Step aside smartphones. I just owned a Samsung s6 for 1 day, and returned it. It is no better that the s5 I already own. $800 saved! The LG G3 was the best phone I ever used, but the battery could not last a full day, so I opted to settle for a Samsung. I am excited to see LG will be bringing out the best smartphone on the market. Bright display, large battery, f1.8 lens, sd card. Can't wait to own one!

AnonD-213026, 12 Apr 2015that's funny because the inside of the s6 is packed with the best there is. So you know for a fact that Samsung Exynos 7 Octa are a better chip then snapdragon 808/810 ?
