So it's April 29th and still no OTA in Michigan. What gives. One thing about the OnePlus team you can count on is THEY NEVER MEAT PROMICE DATES AND NEVER ON TIME.

pawan, 20 Apr 2015No updates yet....what on earth are they doingYou better do it manually if you want it. But fair warning, there are massive wake locks that might crop up at any time, most times by Play services, sometimes by even chrome. It's not very good on battery life so far.

After using it for two days now I have to say battery life is worse than 05Q. Really trash battery life. The standby loss is much higher, screen time is lost as a result. This must be the so called battery leak. The Google play services causing the wake lock was fixed after clearing out the google play service app's cache but that doesn't help the standby by that much. If I were to give an endurance number it would be less than 44hrs
This must be Google's fault since I don't see any changes on base band.

pawan, 18 Apr 2015So is it worth switching from 11s to 12s and how is the camera performance in 5.0.2...are der ... moreIt's the exact same app from Kitkat as far as camera apps goes. So no change in quality. I think it was already confirmed Cyanogen doesn't support Camera API 2.0 yet.
You still want to update as it fixes the poor tap to wake performance after the crappy 05Q kitkat update we last got.

pawan, 17 Apr 2015I saw on some site that cm12s has fast battery drain issues. cm11 give very good battery backu... moreActually I saw this issue even with the last Kitkat update for Oneplus One, and now I see this on CM12S. Turns out it is garbage google's problem again. Specifically the google play services keeping the phone awake. I have to go and clear all the cache and store data by the Google play services app. That fixes it until it crops again which itself is hard to predict.
Google is garbage these days.
Otherwise the battery life is comparable to the last Kitkat update but it is not as good as it was with 33R kitkat ROM. Cyanogen has serious work to do to get back to 33R levels again.

If you aren't getting it there could be other issues, just manually update it. Look for my posts in the prior pages for the step by step on how to do it. It's very very easy.
