Azim, 11 May 2015I think you shuld govto the market and ask the rate oThe rate in the market is 26 to 27k in the market for desire 816 and desire 820 is 24 now....so please don't assume and speak. Keep one thing in mind, Desire 816 was launched before 820 and don't under estimate desire 816 users. If you have any problem, please go to the market and check the rates.

As of now, HTC has released Lollipop updates only for the A5_CHL and A5_UL variants. If you have those two variants, You should have got the lollipop update wherever you are (India or whatever. No factory resets needed as people say). However, unfortunately, most of us in India, as we always prefer, have got the dual sim variant. That is why most of us Indians have not got the update. It doesn't have anything to do with HTC India. We should just wait a little longer for the Global release for the dual sim variants.(p.s I'm pissed off too)

I agree with what you're saying. Desire 816 must be given priority first as we have paid for it.
But I think Desire 820 will get also get lollipop very soon as it's 64bit processor is a compliment to Android lollipop and ART Runtime.

First of all desire 816 doesn't come in the category "chepest". It is a mid-range phone. Only people with good humuor have desire 816. However, desire 820 and 816 are like brothers.
And, lollipop update should be there within a month as it is already released in some parts of Asia.

It will give you the notification once lollipop is delivered from HTC Software updates not release for india yet.
