On 25th Apr, i got software upgrade available on my Vibe X2 and I Downloaded same and installed, but during installation after restart it went to boot loop and did not allowed me to boot it normally or even not allowed to do factory reset.
I called Lenovo Customer Service on Monday and they suggested few methods to do factory reset but no help. Finally they suggested to visit service centre
on 27th April i have handed over my Vibe X2 to official Lenovo Service centre and after that day i am just following up with them for update. i am getting responses like...
- There is some issue with Network part, new part will come in 7-8 days
- your phone software is updated, but we are waiting for new software file, we will update that and confirm
- Your phone is having some software problem, we have asked expert technician to check it
- We are trying to upgrade software on your phone, but it stucks at 75%. We are checking for issues, we will update you (and they never call for any update)
My advise is please at least take backup of your data before going for any OTA update on Vibe X2 as i have asked Customer Service person about what update it was and they replied it is "Android Lolipop"
I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved
