All of you spec hunting people are fools! Some of you are yelling for more than 4gb of RAM... That is hellaciously stupid! You have to be able to power it, which results in poor battery life and most application are optimized in memory usage, so you'd never utilize it anyway. Some of you are screaming about the 810 vs the 808. Last I checked you're still running a 6 core processor, which has its improvements over the last iteration of the G series both in battery life since it's really a 4+2 design, and in multitasking. What LG really needs to do is sit down and do some optimizing with android and whatever chip they decide to use, and you'd never complain about its because it would be screaming fast and smooth. Anyways, I personally believe this phone will do just fine and could quite possibly lead the android market this year if they play their cards right. I personally like the UI so much more than touch wiz which still feels bloated and kiddish. The only other professional design I feel is HTC sense but even that has its issues. For all those still bashing LG, I challenge you to walk into a Bestbuy or local cell provider and actually get your hands on a G2 and G3. They're amazing products and have ceased to amaze me, an HTC user who is eagerly awaiting the release of LG's latest beast. To those that I've offended, I would apologize, but I'm really not that sorry when you bash a product based on specifications you don't really understand. Go google the latest iPhone specs and watch your jaws drop when you see the clock speeds and amounts of RAM in those products that are competing against these android flagships. Just like cars, numbers don't mean everything. It's how the product as a whole, in regards to both software and hardware, performs in the real world that matters.

And yes, the panel in the G3 is sub-par, it's by any means not the best panel LG has made. The full-HD panel in LG's G2 is significantly better and does not really get beaten by Samsungs S6, let alone by the worse performing Note 4 panel.
The panel in the iPhone 6 Plus actually would be worse than the one in the LG G2. While having similar values @ white, it scores worse in blacks and has a significantly worse contrast, when we want to number nit-pick. On that part, Apple actually does not make it's own panels, they get them from companies like LG.
Mind, the latest generation Super Amoled panels are good, but they are not the holy coming or anything. As I mentioned, they have their pro's and their con's.
I have sgs5 and note 3.. both haven't been updated yet in australia. note 3 has stopped charging. never again!
Iskander, 18 Apr 2015LG's IPS panels are of as good a quality, if not better than Samsungs Oled panels. Due to the ... moreLg's display is not better than samsung, not even near. Note 4 and s6 got the title for the best display smartphone so far and for ips lcd it is the iphone 6plus who got the title. So, Nope, your comment is invalid.
This lg g4 doesnt look better than lg g3. If lg g4 have metal back cover to replace lg g3 plastic back cover plus slimmer up and down bezzel, lg g4 will be sold like peanut. This lg g4 design cant outperform samsung s6 imo.
ive never liked lg design, including this phone. Bulky and sort of ugly too. I would take a slim phone anyday rather than thick phone, even without sd and removable battery. Been using too many thick phones in the past, i want something light and portable.
I've told everyone about how bad it is to have a leather back phone, hand sweat will definitely ruin the phone. and lg does this. disappointed in lg
LG will outdo samsung on the camera and screen this year...on benchmarks the G4 will appear little behind but that doesnt mean it will sacrifice performance..the 808 soc can handel well even 3k screen easily according to qualcom. And games even the 800 soc work greats for gameing..

It's already been objectively proven that samsung's amoled screens are the best of the best. Lg's screens have so far been disappointing. their qhd on the g3 is a joke. This quantum display may be the answer to their mediocre screens but it still remains to be seen.
tumama, 18 Apr 2015yest thats why the s6 has the title of the best display rightLooking at others holding the Samoled phones on the streets, why is the screen looks unnatural? green or blue ? Though it is very colorful, just looks uncomfortable.
Smammies，why don't you hide in your own cave(form) and stay silent ?
tumama, 18 Apr 2015yest thats why the s6 has the title of the best display rightbecause the G4 has not come out yet...wait till the 28th Samsung fanboy
How is s6 display better? 97% adobe RGB, LG G4 IPS quantum display has 120%.. The black value will probably be 0.14 which the s6 is 0. U wont notice any difference!!But u will notice the deep blacks and higher contrast, including more natural colours!!And RGB matrix!!Unlike samsungs diamond pentile shit!!
Anonymous, 18 Apr 2015key words "Right Now".yes until the note 5 comes the s6 will be the best phone out there
tumama, 18 Apr 2015my freind let me tell you that the screen on the s6 its the best one right nowkey words "Right Now".
I have the LG G3 and I love this cellphone. I was hoping that the LG G4 would be all metal instead of plastic but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I wanted the newest snapdragon processor 810 octacore and a 430 g.p.u chip. I can't believe they're putting in a weaker 808 hexacore processor and 418 g.p.u!!!!! 418!!!!!?? The snapdragon 805 has a 420 g.p.u!!!!!!! I hope some of the spec leaks about the LG G4 are false
