oh thank God. this is the most amazing news I've heard this year. what in the God's name the upgrade was meant to be. it was horrible. good god.this is what I want for a proper upgrade:

revamped ui
the best camera
fingerprint scanner (although a gimmick)
the standard 2 days battery
4gb ram
less bezels
ip certification
air gestures
software overhaul
fhd or qhd whatever
amazing speaker
some bloody innovations
these would be good.

Next year (2016) will be Sony's last effort in producing smartphones. No matter which flagship gets revealed in May, Sony is done. No one is buying, at least not enough to justify staying in competition, so Sony will either close or sell its mobile division. Too much money is being lost.
This is something that has long been in the works. The company has officially made reference to this fact on multiple occasions. It has to be quite embarrassing for Sony.

please sony listen to your costumers change your ugly thick bezel rectangle design and make an ergonomic design and give fast update and resolve many bad issues on your phone. provide better camera .....

you ... moreby selling 12 million phones,sony made a profit of over 1 billion yen-again check that from the quarterly report...and sony is upadting the entiire z series to lollipop starting from the original z...thats what is called support..
and samsung,apple,lenovo,xiaomi,huawei all use sony exmor sensors..if by earning such huge profits samsung and apple cant design their own camera sensors,it tells a lot about sony quality
