Yes, small size might be nice! But more speed- more better... Get the ISP's to do some updates in their market area's... And kudo's to TSMC......

What I want is more GHz, all this shrinking is making things use less battery through efficiency not increasing speed..

My Windows laptop is a nippy midrange quad core 8gig RAM beast yet it still takes ages to do stuff. It could do things quicker if the GHz increased. They stopped the GHz war due to heat and it was taking so much power (ending up as heat) to get a small gain in GHz. Surely by now this shrinking should have dispelled some of the heat problem.

Just imagine if 8GHz CPU became reality with no need for nitrogen cooling .

Judging by TSMC past announcements and shipment dates, we can expect to see 10nm chipsets only in 2017, earliest. But good luck to them non the less...

Samsung will have their 10nm ready next year so I don't see them making a strong comeback.

According to source, it was a lie by TSMC. They are telling a lie to stay in competition and to lure more investors to buy in their idea. There's nothing unusual as Taiwanese company used to lying just to giving false news to effect their stock price and to stay in competition.

But too bad, Apple and Qualcomm not stupid, that's why both of them signed their next 2 years demand to Samsung.

Nowadays, anything deal with Taiwanese you got to be extreme careful. Not even food you can trust them, yes not even vegetarian food for Buddhism people.
