I have this phone since 2013 but untill now still old version...do something about it many people complains... in the first place you never explain to us what kind of phone is this... now what can you say?

Very disappointing. Not happy at all.
The colors now used bother my eyes and looking at them to long causes me headaches. I've had my S4 for a little over a year and was perfectly happy with the phone. They're are other little irritations along with thin black fonts on bright white backgrounds, causing me to change the brightness setting when I set the alarm. Then changing it back for other applications. Changes in icon sizes. I can change the font size for some of the main applications, but I cannot change the icon in some of the applications. Being way over 40 my vision isn't quite as good as it used to be and the new colors and fonts on programs I use don't work for me as well as the used to.
I use Privacy Flashlight which has two settings. One using the camera flash the second less bright (more like a bright courtesy light) is a screen flashlight. The white background used in some of the apps or programs I use is now brighter than the screen flashlight. That might explain a boost in powers consumption. What kind of stupid...
After a Samsung tech went into my phone, the best he could do was say in polite language, "Sorry the S4 sucks now, I can't do anything about it." I'm along with others and may not buy another Samsung or Android.

I am totally disliking the updates.. the colors are awful. I never would have done it had I known

Since the update, I can't read my text messages.I can see them but can't open them.
Has anyone else experienced this issue.
If so how did you fix as I have tried switching off and then back on again, but still not sorted
