some people are plain stupid... they don't own the device and come here to compare improvements made by a software update.
new software improves camera pictures dramatically.
better than S6? can't say since i do not own an S6 but i can say that the pictures taken with the camera after update are top quality.
(PS the camera issue WAS a software problem not a hardware problem... so yes it can be fixed by a software update)
"You can't fix hardware problems with software" I think someone said :D
AnonD-80391, 22 Apr 2015Update your M9 Review and Versus articles. It's for AT&T only, they need a global update to reflect all M9.
But i wonder if it's too soon to update reviews, they should give HTC a few more weeks to see if they stabilize their situation first.
No nickname, 22 Apr 2015This the problem when you push product out too fast without proper QC!!!!!!!!!!!!!Apart from the aluminum body and sound performance. I don't see any other feature in the M9 that exudes any form of quality.
ergo, 22 Apr 2015U mad bro?Just stating the facts. What, you don't think the M9's camera is rubbish? Even the battery life and screen calibration are worse than the M8. What kind of effort is that? Better for them to pack things up than bleed money every year.
I think the problem with the camera isn't the sensor but the optics! My old HTC one x did the exact same thing as the m9 where u zoom in and everything is blotchy! The toshiba sensor is used in Nokia lumia 930
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2015Now better than S6.Yeah. Keep telling yourself that. Maybe you can sleep better in the night...
The only thing that would save the M9 would be to replace the camera sensor. Unfortunately, this year HTC has made fools out of us when it comes to camera quality.
So, when will GSMA update their review of M9? And the versus S6 article too?
AnonD-246216, 22 Apr 2015The M9 camera is a joke... HTC needs to exit the phone business ASAP!U mad bro?
