It was way better battery life or screen to body ratio. It is also louder. Pretty much fixed all major flaws of it's predecessor.

Too late. Z3 Compact was the one people waited for, it disappointed deeply and it's too late to rectify it now. Too late for me at least, I bought iPhone thanks to the letdown of Z3c, in addition Xperia is getting seriously bloated now, the only advantage over other Ad-droids is long gone.

The Japan's version isn't bad but it's not great either. Would prefer getting the Z3 and save some money. But if the real Z4 is great I might reconsider. S6 edge is amazing but too expensive for me.

I just tell you this much, what they have done to develop Z4 is truly MIND BLOWING, the innovative features doesn't exist in any of the phones out there today.
Z4 WILL BE the best smart phone EVER been created by man,
I can't reveal the features here, but can tell you this much that Galaxy s6/edge OR iphone, or anyone else don't stand a chance competing with amazing phone.

it is very logical to assume that the international z4 would be very similar to the Japanese version, except for a few changes, like a QHD screen.
this practice has been done by Sony before.
