The reason I mentioned S4 instead of S5 is because I wanted to emphasize on the fact that the technical spec such as Camera, RAM, Screen resolution etc, is almost same as it was 2 years ago with S4 (other than cores n battery).
However as I said earlier, for its absolutely amazing cost, its a much better purchase than S4. Even in today's date a new S4 is expensive than new Mi4. So if someone's looking around similar spec, they should certainly go for Mi4i as its a refresh with looks, a few upgraded features (cores n battery) and a lot cheaper than S4.

Yu yureka has similar speci... morethe xiaomi mi4i is a perfect allrounder considering the price point. that's a real exciting launch i would say. perfect enough. now is it lacking a gyroscope and wireless charging? bit worried about 'em. the lack of an msd slot would be a lil prob. but there's always the otg.

To see th... moreWhy the Galaxy s4? Could be also a copy of the Galaxy s5, those few specs are common... What do i expect? There are tons of phones with 5 inch full HD displays and a 13mp cam..
Its more interesting how the quality is and if the camera has the same picture quality than the mi4 has, than it is more a galaxy s5 competitor in this department. Another point is the battery, it has much more capacity, in almost every detail, the mi4i is better than the galaxy s4, so why should it be a copy when its better in the main aspects?

This is exactly a copy of iPhone 5C (look and feel) + Galaxy S4 (technical spec).

It replicates S4 in almost every aspect, be it screen size, screen density, RAM, Camera. Only difference is it has double the cores (octa) than in S4 and the front camera is 5 Megapixel instead of 2 Megapixel in S4
Please note that S4 could be upgraded with memory card but MI4i has no expandable memory option either.
To summarize this phone, Mi 4i is a Galaxy S4 with a cosmetic look and feel of iPhone5c.
Having said all of the above, all those features plus look n feel at this revolutionary price would fetch Xiaomi a lot, especially in the asian subcontinent
