The Pentile display looks like a QHD to the GPU yet delivers less total pixels. It's not a good design, it's a cheap design. That said this display better live up to the 1080s of old. Needs the qualcomm 820 too.

This is people who buy galaxy s6 who buy overpriced devices. This trend is not good. But this trend is going to fail when other companies release cheaper devices. How can company like Huawei charge 500$ for p8. It's nuts. And now the LG g4 is more expansive then galaxy s6. That is crazy. What's next. IPhone 7 1500$ hah. And who is buying this. Even hardcore ifans are not stupid to go with this trend. It's people's fault who are willing to pay 800$ for galaxy s6 no matter what is made of! LG g4 is gonna fail big time hoping that it's the right direction. And what about antutu and topping galaxy s6. Yeah sure. Good luck with new price trend! I will order 100 units lol

I will give whatever lg demands because they have removable battery and external sd slot. Samsung diasspointed many folks by copying apple. I will choose g4 anyday over s6.

good luck with that LG. Your phones have sold well in the past because of combined hardware & price point. At that price, this phone will sit on the shelves looking nice & pretty. It's a Samsung year, try to be more competitive, and concentrate on volume sales & not ridiculous margins.

The colours and contrast ratios are better, it is also way more efficient. Sadly the screen is the only strong argument for the G4 though.

the adreno 430 vs adreno 418 too,
it's lower than S6 must be 700$ at most if s6 is 800$
