I have friends with the Note 4, to better drive the point. AMOLED colors are way over saturated. I've tweaked with the display settings, and the camera settings to try to produce natural looking colors, and haven't come close to the LG G3's colors. As much as I hate to say it, even the Iphone's screen looked more natural than any of our phones (But still didn't look as good as LG's).

By the time Samsung launched GS4 it had polished AMOLED to the point that it was able to produce the most natural colors or the regular punchier colors on demand. It became the best of both worlds and so far AMOLED has been the best display on the planet. GSM Arena admits it in its reviews of any recent Samsung flagship sporting an AMOLED.
I am not a Samsung fanboy, just thought to clear your doubts. You don't seem to be living in 2015.

amoled colors are over saturated even on a normal mode.
the light orange becomes red the light yellow becomes orange.

They are quite capable of showing the proper color-palet. Above that, IPS screens, much unlike the TN-panels you may have in mind, have great viewing angles where color does not start changing.

The S6 is a great phone and the G4 will probably be great... moreI don't disagree with your post but will take issue with the battery life of the S6, this is the only disappointment for me and it is a deal breaker. Without using it much during the day, no phone call or text, no games played and only a bit of browsing, certainly less than an hour, my battery went from 100% at 07.30 to 39% by 5pm! This is a shocker as my Nexus 6 with that same usage pattern will normally be in the 80% range! Currently got it on eBay as that kills the deal for me. This is not about brands, I pretty much use them all or have done over recent years, including the iPhone. Any thoughts...?

May opt for this as the Z4 is not likely to be out for a few more months. However, will be opting for the plastic backed version, if at all possible/available in the UK. The leather, tanning or no tanning, will likely be cracked in a few months. Real leather is not as durable as a faux one. Not forgetting that it has a removable back, which means for those who remove the back often, I know I do, it will almost certainly degrade/wear quicker!

John, 24 Apr 2015G3 was relatively worse than the G2. G2 is still their best phoneThe only reason why G3 is worse than G2 is that G3 has higher screen resolution, and it has the same SoC (there is no real difference between Snapdragon 800 and 801). So the QHD resolution makes G3 a junk.
However, in the aspect of battery, the G3 is better, because it's battery is removable.

It is samsung who is copying the LG optimus UI..LG brought the diffrent color for diffrent apps for example message,music,calendar,dialer all had it own color, also LG used white background on thier setting with grey...all this was done in the G3 UI now samsung brings this color on apps and white background on settings on the s6..

It just intensifies the competition. And if when the G4 launches it is proven to have a superior better battery life than either of the Samsung's then it will interesting to see what both the consumer & Samsung make of it.
Battery life is a killer issue.
